Baking Cake Pan Stick

One problem that everyone who bakes runs into at least once in awhile is baking cake pan stick.

You flip the cooled cake over onto a cake board or plate and a small chunk of the cake sticks to the pan.

There are several ways to prevent this. One method that has been around for generations is to grease the pan with butter or solid shortening and then dust it with flour. This works most of the time.

Bake a chocolate cake and use this method and you are likely to get white patches on the cake.

One solution is to use the cake mix to dust the pan. If you use your own cake recipe there are sprays that will let your cakes release perfectly.

Whether you make a birthday cake for dad or a shower cake for your sister, you can avoid baking cake pan stick.
