Boy Baby Shower Cake Decorating Techniques

Boy baby shower cake for my friend.
I made this boy baby shower cake when my very dear friend was pregnant and was expecting to give a birth to a little boy.

As she was eating sweets a lot during her pregnancy, I decided to make her this cake with her favorite flavor-chocolate.

Here you can read boy baby shower cake decorating techniques and find out how I managed to make this cake.

First I baked a chocolate layer. I beat egg whites adding sugar gradually. When it was beat well, I added egg yolks one at a time, added flour gradually and melted chocolate. I mixed it all well until all ingredients combined.

I poured the mixture into the prepared pan and baked it in the preheated oven for about 35 min. When the layer was baked, I let it to cool for 5 min. in the pan, then I took it out of the pan and left it to cool completely. Then I baked another chocolate layer but this time I baked it in round pan. The first one was rectangle.

While the layers were cooling I prepared the frosting. For frosting I beat butter with powdered sugar and set aside. Separately, I cooked chocolate pudding with milk and when the pudding was cooked and cooled I added beat butter into the pudding and mixed all well until creamy.

On the plate, I placed the bigger layer and frosted it with chocolate pudding cream, and covered it with white fondant. Above this, I put round layer and greased it with the same frosting. This round layer I covered with yellow fondant. On the top of the cake I placed a little box full of baby toys which I also placed around and on the cake. I made 33 cupcakes and arranged them around the whole cake and it really looked very interesting. Everybody enjoyed eating my cake.
