Chocolate Lava Cake

I always feel a little bit guilty every time I see a Chocolate Lava Cake. It just sort of seems to scream indulgence and decadence.
The kind of special cake that I make when my husband’s out of town and I can indulge in after the kids are in bed, while I watch what he refers to as ‘chick flicks.’ It’s my one little secret.

Of course, Chocolate Lava Cake is great to make for an everyday kind of dessert too. It’s also the kind of cake that you could take anywhere and be sure that everyone would just love it.

Can’t you just imagine the surprised look on everyone’s faces when they bite into what they think is plain chocolate cake and instead they taste that yummy chocolate lava filling? Everyone would be begging you for the recipe.
Chocolate Lava Cakes also make great small birthday cakes or even special occasion cakes. Have you ever seen pictures of cakes served at fancy afternoon tea parties? Wouldn’t it be cute to use a Chocolate Lava recipe instead? Or what about for a unique wedding cake?
