My name is Tina. I come from Poland and have been living in England for 5 years. And I will try to write as clear as possible about my cake.

My idea for a cake came out of my mind one night. People say I am really creative person, it is very kind of them. I never done this type of cakes before. This Homemade Hello Kitty Birthday Cake Idea is my first one and successful.

So the cake was made for my seven year old daughter for her birthday. I made it from white sponge powder and dark one. It was two-tiers cake and each tier had two layers.

One of the layers had lemon and another one small amount of nuts. It could be whatever, only needs to fit taste. A cream was made form a fromage cream and icing sugar powder, also lemon. Next I made some flowers and leaves from gum paste. I also modeled "Hello Kitty" and put on the top of the cake.

I used some dust powder to colour flowers and other details. I needed icing to cover the cake. The Royal one is the best for me. After I made frills from pink coloured icing and added some pink neon dust on it. I made my cake in three days. Where the first I had to made flowers and the "Hello kitty" figure.

My Daughter was really happy and surprised seeing the cake.
