Football Spirit Cake Decorating Techniques

My cousin's football spirit cake.
This cake was made for my cousin.

He likes playing football and when he entered the first team his parents organized the party to celebrate his success so I decided to contribute to this party and made this cake.

It doesn't require too much effort which you can see if you read my football spirit cake decorating techniques.

This cake was two tiers cake. The first tier was made like this: I beat egg whites with flour and cocoa powder. Then I beat egg yolks with sugar and slowly added it to the previous mixture and mixed it all well. This batter I poured into the prepared square pan and baked in the preheated oven on middle heat.

When the layer was baked I removed it from the pan and set aside to cool. I used the same ingredients for the upper tier only this time I baked it in round pan. For the frosting I cooked eggs with sugar on steam stirring all the time until cream thickened.

Then I moved it from the heat, cooled a little bit and added mixed butter, vanilla and melted chocolate. I mixed all this ingredients and frosted the layers with it.

I placed the first layer on the plate, frosted it with the cream and covered with white fondant. Then I placed the round layer and also frosted with the chocolate cream and covered it with white fondant as the first layer. Around the round layer I put red stripe made out of fondant and I made lot of red and blue stars out of fondant and placed them on the cake as you can see on the picture.

This cake looked very nice and tasted excellent. Enjoy!!!
