Free Easy Baby Shower Cake with Baby Instructions

My sister-in-law's baby shower cake with baby
I made this cake couple of years ago when my sister-in-law gave birth to her daughter.

This cake has many little details. I spend most of the day decorating it and since I am the perfectionist, I paid a lot of attention to all details in order to make fantastic cake.

And I managed to do it and even today I am amazed with the appearance of this cake. If you decide to try to make something like that here is free easy baby shower cake with baby instructions that will, I hope easier you the procedure of making the cake.

Free Easy Baby Shower Cake with Baby Instructions

First I made three layers, one bigger and two smaller. The bigger layer is made like this: I mixed butter with powdered sugar, ground biscuits and orange juice until all ingredients combined. This layer doesn't need baking. All you have to do is to mix all the mentioned ingredients and make round layer.

Then I made two smaller layers. They were yellow cakes made of eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder and walnuts. I mixed all ingredients and baked in round pans in preheated oven for about 30 min. When baked I cooled them. I placed the first biscuits layer on the tray and greased it with vanilla pudding cream. I cooked milk, sugar vanilla pudding, flour and vanilla extract until thicken.

When cooked, I cooled it and then added butter and beat all well with a mixer. Above the bottom cake I put smaller round yellow layer and frosted with vanilla pudding cream, and above cream I placed the second yellow layer. The whole cake I covered with icing using spatula in order to make flat and smooth surface. Then I made little green and yellow squares and placed them like seen on the picture. I also added little blue flowers which I bought but are edible. Around the cake I placed figurines also purchased in cake store. On the top of the cake I made a cradle out of sponge and tulle and I put a little baby toy in it. And that's it.

Although I put a lot of effort to make this cake I am very proud of it and I think I could make it again. It is also very delicious so enjoy.
