Discover free easy casa pastel cakes Guatemala decorating techniques.
I made this lovely casa pastel cake for my brother's wedding.

He asked me if I could make a cake with four levels as his girlfriend wanted such cake and she wanted white cake with something blue on it as her wedding dress was white with blue flowers.

So, I made this cake and everybody were amazed with it. Here are free easy casa pastel cakes Guatemala decorating techniques.

Every level consists of two milk layers and between them is milk mixture. First, I beat eggs white at low speed until fluffy, then I gradually added sugar and continue beating, then I added egg yolks one at a time and beat mixture until combined.

Then I added flour, baking powder, milk, and vanilla extract, poured into a rounded pan and baked for about 20 to 40 min until layers got golden color. I made three other levels as the first one only I baked them in smaller pans so every level was smaller than the previous one.

After I baked all cakes, I left them to cool and in the meantime, I prepared milk mixture to put it between two layers. I made milk mixture like this: I beat eggs with sugar and flour. I boiled milk, poured the mixture into the boiling milk, and stirred. Then I took it away until it cooled. I put the nuts in and greased the layers.

I covered the whole cake with white fondant and decorated it with little blue cake flowers I bought in cake store. Around every level I put a little balls I made out of white fondant. I am very proud of this cake and I think it looks very elegant and is perfect for weddings. I hope that you love it too.
