Free Easy Christmas Sugar Flower Decorating Techniques

Free easy christmas sugar flower decorating techniques will be perfect for holiday.
There are many lovely and attractive flowers for cakes but my favorite is lily. If you are not sure how to make it, here are free e

asy sugar flower decorating techniques that will explain you how to make it with a little trouble and yet your cake decorated with lily flower will be fabulous.

This Christmas sugar flower can be made of fondant because it is very easy for shaping and creating different shapes. First, you should heat gum paste with a little water to get sticky liquid which will be a "glue".

Use brown fondant to form pestles and fix them on flower wires. The bottom should be wrapped with green flower strip. If necessary, you can fix the strip's ends with a "glue". Then leave it to dry a little bit. After that make stamens of fondant, put them on flower wires around the pestles and wrapped with flower strip. Then leave that aside.

Now it is time to make petals. You need 6 of them. You can cut petals out of fondant with the sharp knife. First, spread the fondant to be thin and then cut it in the petals' shape. When you cut them fix them on flower wires. Use toothpick to draw lines on petals.

Then use wider brush to color the petals darker at the middle and the bottom and brighter at the ends. When you finish making petals leave them to dry folded in desired shape. When they are dried you can place them around the pestles and stamens by putting the wires of the pestles around the central wire. Then you can make four leaves out of fondant the same way as petals just color them green. The lily flower is made and should be left to dry.
