Free Easy Princess Castle Cake Instructions

Birthday princess castle cake for my husband sister's daughter

This lovely cake I made for my husband sister's daughter for her 5th birthday.

She had a theme party, and this year's theme was princesses, castles etc.

I thought that this cake was perfect for this party. For the main part of the castle, I made two yellow layers. I mixed eggs with sugar, then added milk, flour and baking powder.

I mixed it well and poured mixture in square pans and baked in preheated oven for about 30 min. When baked, I left them to cool completely. While two layers were cooling, I made the frosting. I beat egg yolks with sugar, added cold milk and flour. I cooked it for 10 minutes and when cooled I added butter and vanilla extract.

In other bowl I beat egg white with powdered sugar and when beat well, I poured it into the cream and mixed it all well. I greased the frosting between the layers and covered with white fondant. The top part of the castle was also made of two yellow layers baked in small round pans. I also covered it with white fondant.

I made the towers out of cereal batter which I made in a shape of cylinder. I made 5 towers and covered them with white fondant. The roof of the tower was made of pink fondant. The windows were made of black and white fondant. I draw bricks with knife. For the plants on the walls, I used icing bag. The doors I made of brown fondant. At the end, I placed little princess figurines I bought in cake store.

This cake is full of details and is very demanding and it took me a lot of time to make it, but it was worth it.
