Free Easy Twilight Series Books Cake Decorating Techniques
About free easy Twilight series books cake decorating techniques.
My children adore Twilight series and I decided to surprise them with Twilight series books cake for the New Year.
It wasn't very difficult for making and I supposed that you will not have much troubles too. That is why I will submit free easy Twilight series books decorating techniques for all who like this series and love cakes.
For this cake I made three "books". Each "book" is made of two layers and frosting between them.
The first "book" is raspberry cake. I placed two cups of raspberries in a bowl and mashed them with a folk to combine. In other bowl I beat eggs and sugar with electric mixer on high speed for 8 to 10 min. until thick and glossy.
Then I gently fold in raspberries and almond meal with metal spoon, poured into prepared tin and baked for about 60 min. until golden and firm. When baked I transferred it to a wire rack to cool completely. I made two raspberries layers and between them I put raspberry cream.
This cake I covered with black fondant on top and on one side and on three sides I put white fondant and shaped it to look like book. I used a toothpick to draw lines on white fondant to look like sheets.
The second "book" is made of two banana and pineapple layers. In a large bowl I sifted flour, baking soda and cinnamon and stirred in the sugar and coconut. Then I stirred in the eggs, butter, bananas and pineapple and spooned into the prepared pan. This mixture should be baked for about an hour. When baked I left it to cool in pan for about 5 min. and then I turned it out on a wire rack to cool completely. Between two layer I put cream made of cream cheese, vanilla and icing sugar beaten until smooth and creamy. This cake I covered as the first one with black and white fondant.
The third "book" was made of two blueberry cakes and blueberry cream. I beat butter and sugar together in a large bowl until pale and creamy. I added eggs, flour and yoghurt, and blueberries and beat well until combined. Then, I poured into the prepared pan, baked for 40 min., when baked I left it in a pan for 10 min. to cool and then I removed it from pan to cool completely. Between these two layers I put blueberry cream and covered it with fondant as previous two cakes. I put decorations on the sides of the book made of fondant and that's it. Hope you will enjoy.
