This wedding cake was created for a young couple with a desire to be themselves. The bride and her family ride motorcycles and flame designs are liked by most bikers, that I know anyway.

The flame design was requested by the bride. Baby blue is her favorite color and tied in with the theme for the wedding. The cake flavors are, from bottom to top, triple chocolate cake with peanut butter filling, yellow cake with butter cream icing, and again chocolate with peanut butter filling.

There is a silk blue rose with embellishments under the top tier. Arranged and glued together by myself. The top edges of the cake is sprinkled with blue sugar crystals as well.

I call the cake the Rising Flame cake because I drew the flames on before I piped the bead trim. This gives the appearance that the flames are "rising" out of each tier! This cake was one of the most fun cakes I have made so far! Everyone at the wedding loved the cake and there were comments made that it was elegant, edgy, and unique!
