Arielle's Sweet 16 Birthday Cake
My name is Arielle. My mother planned my whole sweet 16 party for it. It was a halloween bash and along with decorating and cooking all the food she made her first "fancy" cake.
It turned out AMAZINGGGGG! The cake even lit up! It was a 3 layer cake, with different flavors in each layer. Everyone was so surprised how good it turned out!
She made the whole cake and all the decorations herself and even though it took a loooong time, it was great (and it tasted good too).

This is for my son's 11th party. He wanted a laser gun cake..so I bit the bullet and made one. My 1st time actually decorating a cake. The letters are made from a candy mold in chocolate. The vest is a smaller cake that I cover in fondant and then just decorated.. The gun is just a small water gun.

The cake in the following photos was order and made per ideas from the little girls mother, she told me she was wearing a yellow dress, liked balls, balloons and clowns and that she wanted a strawberry cake with french vanilla frosting.
I created for her the cake you see in the pics
Strawberry Cake, French Vanilla Frosting, 3 additional small strawberry cakes each cake colored in different fondant and on (1) small cake a Glass Water Globe of a little fairy in a little yellow dress, (2) center is a Ceramic Fairy in a yellow dress and (2) atop of this cake is a handblown glass clown holding a fondant balloon.
Cupcakes are centered around outside, cupcakes are also strawberry , the childs name Ruby in fondant and her age on them. These cake feed about 40 people and had a ball in the front in a hoop.

My Nephew's Birthday is close to Halloween so we all decided to dress the part and have a Mad Hatter UnBirthday Party. We knew we wanted the Cheshire cat on the bottom and Mad Hatter hat on top, the rest just happened.

Mad Hatter - Fun Cake Design
This cake was design by For the Love of Cake in Toronto of a 15th birthday party with an Alice in Wonderland theme. They knew they wanted a Mad Hatter shape and to some how incorporate the theme.
I did the face, tail and colours of the Cheshire cat on the bottom tier, the card suits, rose buds and hearts in the middle for the Queen of Hearts and blue stripes on the top tier for Alice's dress.
