The Magnolia bakery in New York City’s West Village is particularly famous for it’s cupcakes.

You won’t be able to buy a big fancy wedding cake here, and they don’t have cake designers or cake decorators.

But to quote one reviewer "Best d__n cupcakes in the city." The place is very small, and you almost always have to wait in line outside for at least ten minutes.

There is only one table inside so basically it is takeout only.

This bakery also sells banana pudding, cherries jubilee, mini-cheesecake, German chocolate cake with coconut, caramel and pecans, and a few other cake varieties.

When you are in New York be sure to visit the Magnolia Bakery and try some of their other delicious cakes as well as the famous cupcakes.
