Noahs Ark 1st Birthday Cake

Made this for my grandson's (Noah) 1st birthday. I traveled out of state, didn't have all my tools with me and the place where I had to make the cake, only had a two prong electrical plug.


So I could either plug the refrigerator in or the mixer! So I did the best I could with what I had!! It took 11 hours and my daughter helped me finish up the animals.


Water is white almond sour cream cake with buttercream icing. Ark is Chocolate sour cream cake with buttercream icing and the top for the ark is puond cake with a fondant roof. The animals are fondant and gumpaste with touches of buttercream. The things my kids get me into!!
