Obama Llama Ding-Dongs Cake Decorating

After Obama won the election, my family was just overjoyed! We wanted to do something fun, funny, and yummy to celebrate the win.


I decided to make a cupcake cake and decorated it with the following theme: Obama Llama Ding-Dongs! I have always liked baking and making themed cakes for my friends and family, so this came natural to me.


I took red and blue icing and decorated the chocolate iced cupcakes I had baked to look like the Obama campaign moto.


I then printed off pictures of a Llama, and stuck the pictures into the back of the cupcakes with a toothpick.


The end result cracked up our friends and co-workers alike (we took them to work with us to share). They were so easy and fun to make and we got so many great compliments on them!


We placed them on a red plate smooshed together to look like a cake as a final step.
