Teenage Sneaker Birthday Cake

A customer asked for their teenager's favorite high-top popping out of a gift box.

Everything is completely edible (except the ribbon on the plaque). I modeled the sneakers on a pair of real high-tops and created patterns and templates to work from.

The gumpaste daisies were the client's idea to soften the look. The client was very pleased.
