HOWDY!!! From TEXAS I started baking when I was a teenager. Cookies from scratch for Church and School bake sales and at least a gross of various flavors were shipped every weekend to friends and family serving in Vietnam.


I learned how to read a recipe quickly and how to adjust one even quicker. I still bake from scratch, it just tastes better. I have two favorite cookies: chocolate chip and iced oatmeal raisin. The bottom line is I liked what I bake and cook so much that I am diabetic. Not to worry, I just learned how to bake, cook and eat with less sugar or fake sugar.


In closing, over the years, I have collected (this is a rough count) over 3,000 recipes. I am hoping to put them all in the computer. I'm going to go back and surf the Internet Happy Cooking!

Since my first food science class in high school, I have loved experimenting in the kitchen. I love to bake, cook, and try new recipes.

However, I didn’t give much thought to baking as a profession. It wasn’t until after graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Special Education that I realized my true passion was baking and decorating cakes.


I set out to learn more, and enrolled in multiple cake decorating courses at the All in One Bake Shop, in Austin, TX.

Since then, I have decorated hundreds of cakes for many different occasions, and I love every minute of it. What started as a small, part-time hobby has flourished over the past two years into a thriving business!
