Introducing a rare inspiration in cuisine, Chef Alfredo and Maria Generosa and partner, Tony Sorbaro of Piazza Italia, Holmdel Commons, presented "The Intentional Birthday Cake" to the eleven celebrants at a luncheon for this writer on September 27.
The hostess for this unforgettable gathering was Kathleen Voel-Moran of Ameriprise Financial Services. The idea was so extraordinary that it would not be possible to find a more joyous and mind-tweaking occasion.
Alfredo, loving and achieving his life’s work as a master chef, imbues his cuisine with ever-conscious intention. That makes his culinary creations both restorative and nourishing for his patrons. Alfredo’s intention thoughtfully locates the energy directly into the meal with the purpose of fulfillment of the patrons' life enhancing intentions.
Each guest made a silent intention for their life and all those in their lives and for the wholeness and integrity of our planet. The intention was inclusive as well of all the other intentions made at the table. As science now meets with religion and spirituality, it was apparent that an untold number of intentions had now been released exponentially into the field to create the desired reality.
Alfredo, Maria and the table of guests joined hands to express gratitude for the fullness of life and our intentions for one another in bringing vitality to our thoughts as we create and generate a reality of goodness.
The gathering created indeed a special place, a repository of magnificent energy, where cosmic rays converge for the good of our planet. This is a possibility for all of my readers to share and enjoy, for you are all in my intentions and therefore in the intentions of all present.
Guests who participated are Ellen Rathbone, Lin Fong-O'Neill, Roberta Larsen, Wendy Sullivan, Nora Haddow, Joyce Skata, Anna Diaz-White, Helene Kylen and Donna Fisher, in addition to our hostess Kathleen Voel-Moran and celebrant Bernice Roberts
