Princess Castle Cake

I have been designing cakes for more than 25 years.

When my daughter was three she asked for a princess castle cake. I went to the local bakery and they told me that they did not make such things.

That they would make a sheet cake and put a plastic princess and a plastic castle on it. That is not what she wanted.


she wanted a cake that was a Castle. It was then I decided to make the cake myself. It took a lot of hours and a lot of mistakes but the castle was done. It was a sheet cake, but built up to look like a castle. I was very proud of myself and from then on I did my own cakes.

It was because of that cake I began my custom cake design company.

Last week my grand daughter turned three. She also wanted a castle cake for her princess party. Well, I have come a long way from that first sheet cake that I made for my daughter. This is the cake I made last week for my grand daughter.
