We once got a call on April Fools Day asking if we could make a cake for the Queen. Of course we were very sceptical as this just doesn't happen, and we thought it was a prank.


After asking for numerous forms of proof including phone numbers that we could look up and a confirmation e-mail, we did indeed make a cake for the Queen.

I worked for many years as a prop maker in the theatre.

About 10 years ago I was asked to make birthday cakes for childrens parties at a friends Tourist attraction.I found I really liked working with sugar. So I have started up my own business, making cakes and decorating them.

I work from two angles

1. That I am very picky about what I put in my cakes ,I only use free range eggs and organic flour,unbleached sugar and fat with no colouring,

2. Definately no artifcial colours or flavourings.

I would dearly like to be a bit more busy than I am, as I have spent out a lot of money setting up my kitchen.

My cakes are obviously a bit theatrical.And I think quite unlike anyone elses.
