Stack of Shoe Boxes with a Gucci Shoe Cake

I started my "designer" cake boutique business last April of 2007. Since then, I've been getting request to design cakes of different shapes and objects.

I didn't know I knew how to sculpt a cake until I was commissioned to do a "Stack of Shoe boxes" cake. I actually went to my closet, took out three pairs of shoes in their boxes, stacked them on top of a table and began sculpting the cake to look exactly like the stack of shoes boxes I had on my table!


I even went as far as to study one of my stiletto shoes and scupted that out of gumpaste!
