This couple is moved to Australia right after the wedding so they wanted something that told the story.

The figurines were out of edible modeling paste and they were made to resemble the actual bride and groom. we had lots of fun making this cake and the happy couple loved it!

Wedding Cake with Red Roses and Black Ribbon

This is a cake I made for a friend of friend. I got a topper for $20 and also showed her that we can use the extra flowers that came with the dozen as a topper to save the $20. She took the roses for the topper. Smart gal!

Also, I used homemade fondant which did take a little longer but since I didn't have to buy it, also cut costs.

I have been unemployed for 2 years. Wanted to decorate cakes. Never could in the past. So while I had the time I thought I would teach myself.

I am by no means a perfectionist,but I am not bad either. This is a practice cake I made. I had no one who could eat such a large cake, so my husband and I donated it to a local shelter.
