White Wedding Cake Decorating Techniques

Elegant white wedding cake for all young couples.

Wedding cakes are surely the most important and the most beautiful part of each wedding ceremony.

They are the central piece and all invitees wait to get their share. That is why it is very significant to have good looking and very tasty wedding cake.

This is the white wedding cake I have made couple of months ago for a friend's wedding. The bride wanted to have white cake as her wedding dress was white and I fulfilled her wish.

Here you can read my white wedding cake decorating techniques and find out the procedure for making this very elegant cake. Usually wedding cake is 2-3 tiers cake and so is mine. I made 3 tiers wedding cake.

Elegant white wedding cake for all young couples.

For the first tier I mixed flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In another bowl I beat butter with sugar until fluffy, then added eggs one at the time, and added vanilla. Then I added flour mixture and milk and beat all well until combined. I poured the mixture into the prepared pan and baked for about 35 min. I cooled cake in pan for 5 min. and then inverted on the rack and cooled it completely.

I baked two more layers smaller then the first one. For the frosting I made vanilla butter cream made of eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla and butter. I used the butter cream for all tiers. When I finished baking layers and preparing butter cream and when all these were cooled completely, I started with decorating the cake.

First, I covered the cake with white fondant, which gave the cake very elegant and smooth look. Then I decorated each tier with white flowers made of white fondant too and on top of the cake, I put the flower and it looked really perfect. I have to admit that I was very satisfied with this lovely cake and I hope that you like it too.
