Yellow Roses Wedding Cake Decorating Techniques

I made this lovely cake when my dear friend decided to get married.

As she is familiar with the fact that I adore cakes and love to make them she asked me to make one for her special day. So, here you can read yellow roses wedding cake decorating techniques and learn how to make this exquisite cake.

As my friend wanted a big cake for her wedding I decided to make four tiers cake and to decorate it with yellow roses. All four layers were made of the same ingredients.

They were coconut layers with the coconut frosting between them. The ingredients I used for the layers were eggs, sugar, oil, flour, baking powder, coconut, cocoa powder, and cinnamon. First, I beat egg yolks with sugar, then; I added flour, oil, and baking powder.

In another bowl, I beat egg whites, stirred with the previous mixture, and mixed it with the spoon, not with the mixer. I divided the dough in two parts. In one part, I added coconut and in the other, I added cocoa powder and cinnamon. Then, I baked these two layers in the preheated oven for about 30 min. Every tier was made of two layers made of the same ingredients.

Between the layers, I put frosting made of the next ingredients: milk, sugar, vanilla pudding, flour, butter, coconut, and chocolate. First, I cooked milk with sugar. When boiled, I poured vanilla pudding and flour and cooked until thicken. When thicken I added coconut and left it to cool completely, then I added butter mixed with powdered sugar. I divided the frosting in two parts and in one part I stirred melted chocolate.

On the bottom of the cake I put white layer, covered it with white frosting, then I put black layer and covered it with black frosting. I repeated this procedure for all tiers. At the end, I covered the whole cake with white fondant and decorated it with yellow roses and on top of the cake, I put white roses and a heart made of white modeling chocolate.
