Using a double chocolate or German chocolate cake mix makes this a really easy recipe. When I make this everyone loves it. These cakes are best sellers at church and PTA bake sales. Of course you may want to change the name of the cake for the church sale.

The only decorating that needs to be done on these cakes is the crumbled “Heath” bars on top. Most folks make the cake in a rectangular 13x9x2 inch pan.

Poke holes in the top of the cake to let the ice cream toppings soak in, one at a time. Add half of the crushed candy bars and frost with the whipped topping and add the rest of the candy as decorations. Enjoy!!!
