Flourless Chocolate Cakes Designs, Decorating Ideas and Pictures

A flourless chocolate cake! How is that possible? It is not only possible, it is almost necessary if you want to make a cake for someone who is sensitive or allergic to gluten.

A web search will yield dozens of sites with hundreds of gluten free baked goods, recipes including cake and cookies. Many of these recipes are labor intensive but well worth the time and effort.

We found several flourless cake recipes on line including a flourless chocolate truffle cake and a flourless chocolate cake. However I was looking for an easy recipe.

The one I decided to use calls for water, sugar, 8 ounces of unsweetened chocolate and semi-sweet both chopped fine, 5 to 6 eggs, butter and whipped topping for frosting the cake.

Decorating this cake is not necessary but you can sprinkle some nuts, colored sugar, sprinkles or candy over the cake. Use small toys as decorations if the cake is for a child.
